The Balsammand Lake in Jodhpur is Historical Lakes in Jodhpur and a prominent spot for picnic encompassed by slopes. It is a fake lake inherent 1159 AD. Balsammand Lake is approx 7 kms from the principle city, on the Jodhpur - Mandore Street. This lake is approx one kilometer long, fifty meters wide and fifteen meters profound. Alongside the lake stands the Balsammand Palace, an imaginative eight-pillared palace with three passageway doors. Maharaja Sur Singh got the palace developed in 1936, as a midyear structure. All around the lake are lavish green enclosures. A counterfeit falling waterfall brings water from the store to the enclosures.
